Hybrid Power Systems

Portable Hybrid Power Module
The Portable Hybrid Power Module is an autonomous energy source designed for remote ATEX Zone 2 hazardous areas. JCE Energy holds considerable experience in the hybrid power field after supplying numerous systems to the offshore and marine industries. Each off grid system utilises a combination of wind turbine(s) and solar panels, to supply a battery package via its standard controller / distribution system. The inclusion of battery storage enables the package to deliver reliable power during periods of no wind and darkness. The Portable Hybrid Power Module designed and manufactured to achieve project power requirements for specific applications. Additionally it can be supplied as a system of interconnected skids in order to increase the power requirements.

The principle of the design incorporates features to ensure that static and dynamic forces are distributed to minimise deck loading. The module is self-contained and ready to be shipped, minimising installation and shipping costs / time.

  • ATEX Compliant
  • Lightweight Module
  • Independent Operation
  • Low Maintenance
  • Reduced Costs

Typical applications for this stand alone unit are, integrated control and monitoring systems (in remote locations or unmanned platforms) incorporating:

  • Navigation Aids – ESD Controls
  • SCADA Systems – Ship to Shore Communications
  • Trace Heating – Netcam Systems
  • Alarm Systems – Pipeline Management
  • Gas Detection – Cathodic Protection Monitoring
  • Bird Scaring – Data Recording
